Woodlands for Health Evaluation Report 2020

The Woodlands for Health Evaluation Report by GO GREEN research initiative at the Physical Activity for Health cluster, Health Research Institute, University of Limerick was launched at the Planning, Sharing and Learning event that took place in the Glenroyal Hotel on the 13th February 2020.


Findings from completed surveys across Limerick, Wexford, Roscommon, Laois, Wicklow and Sligo were included in the analysis.

The sample comprised of over 150 participants. The findings indicate an improvement in wellbeing (on average 31%) and nature connectedness (on average 11%).
